I took up my spot in this amazing show back in 2011 when my daughter was just a few months old. Having danced since the age of 3, I went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree in choreography and performance followed by qualifications in fitness and nutrition, but had somehow ended up in an office job.
Becoming part of this show allowed me to get back to my roots, not only dancing again but being on stage, performing to massive audiences! From the troops at Brize Norton, sharing the stage with The Jersey Boys, audience members climbing on the stage at a massive gig in Barcelona, to playing to thousands at Glastonbudget… this show has seen it all!
I took some time out towards the end of 2013 to have my son but not before squeezing my very noticeable bump into my tasseled dress one last time to perform backing vocals at The National Tribute awards…
Amazing experience! So much to look forward to with gigs in Cyprus, Portugal, Holland and another great festival in Tribfest, who knows where else this show will take us! With 2 young children at home, this show allows me to escape for a few hours (or days!) and become Sarah again doing what I love, with my 2 biggest supporters waiting for mummy at home!
